SITE-EYE TIME-LAPSE

WHY TIME-LAPSE?

Marketing & PR

Long-term time-lapse cameras and footage are an excellent way to showcase your project. It’s perfect for social media and helps keep viewers updated on project progress. Additionally, it’s an effective tool for attracting interest on a website or intranet page. Time-lapse clips can be combined with our Drone footage and Corporate Filming  to create engaging documentaries that maintain audience interest.

Site Monitoring

Recording time-lapse footage results in the collection of thousands of high-quality still images taken every few minutes throughout the project. This makes it an ideal tool for monitoring the site. All images are uploaded to our servers and are immediately accessible to clients through our secure online portal.

THE TIME-LAPSE PROCESS

Estimate

We will discuss your project and work with you to determine the number and type of cameras you will need, as well as the duration of the project.

After our discussion, we will provide you with an estimated cost, which will be subject to a site survey. We can adjust items on the estimate to ensure the project fits your budget while maintaining the quality necessary for your intended use.

Once you are satisfied with the estimate, we will proceed with a free site survey.

Site Survey

The site survey is crucial for obtaining a comprehensive assessment of the project.

During the survey, we will evaluate all aspects of the installations, including:

  • Identifying suitable locations for cameras to ensure a clear view that matches your intended capture.
  • Checking communication signals to confirm that the 4G link is reliable.
  • Assessing whether custom brackets, towers, or camera housings are needed.
  • Collecting necessary information to ensure safety and to prepare relevant health and safety documentation.

Formal Quote

Once the survey is completed, we can update the estimate to include any items not originally specified.

For example, this could involve hiring access equipment, such as 10m tilt-over towers, or removing items that are no longer necessary. For instance, the initial estimate may include a tower, but after the survey, we might discover that the camera can be mounted on the roof of an adjacent building.

In most cases, the estimate and the final quote will be the same amount.

Handover

At the end of the project, we will create a hand-crafted time-lapse film using the footage captured during the project, along with additional material such as drone footage, corporate filming, still images, music, and text.

Our professional and enthusiastic editing team will collaborate with you to ensure that the final product meets your exact needs.

We can produce versions of different lengths and resolutions, making them suitable for various purposes, ranging from social media to documentaries.

The online portal will remain accessible for free for up to six months after the project’s completion. (The portal can be kept online indefinitely for a small monthly fee.)
